The Kaufman County Commissioners' Court has imposed a
county-wide burn ban effective until September 24th.  All
outdoor burning is prohibited except for outdoor cooking
and ceremonial fires.

Welcome to the City of Oak Ridge.

Oak Ridge is a quiet, bedroom community of just
under 500 people.  It is situated between the cities
of Terrell and Kaufman, along North State
Highway 34.

Less than 25 miles from the Dallas County line,
Oak Ridge is far enough from urban areas to
afford quiet country living, but close enough for
commuters.  If you are looking for a friendly and
peaceful place to live, welcome to the City of Oak
Ridge.
